Hi I am Garrett Pasquale the founder of Stone Heritage.
In 2003 I formed Stone Heritage as a Stone Masonry company in Queenstown.
As I became more involved in the design process with clients, I started thinking of ways we could make a point of difference in the product we supply. I client of mine asked if we could make a polished concrete hearth for his fire place and a stacked stone surround – I jumped straight in to it!
The finished fire place looked extraordinary! The contrast of materials and colours was great and I noticed that the design was reflected in our local surroundings with the round aggregates of the Shotover River and the grey schist cliffs of the Remarkable Mountains.
From that point it was a fast progression as the demand grew and the next step to get into floor grinding and polishing was easy as the two sides of the business complemented each other.
